Jason Davis was born, raised and educated in Martin, Tennessee where he attended the University of Tennessee at Martin. He received his Bachelors of Science Degree in Political Science in 2006. Jason Davis was born, raised and educated in Martin, Tennessee where he attended the University of Tennessee at Martin. He received his Bachelors of Science Degree in Political Science in 2006. Jason attended Nashville School of Law where he received his Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree in 2011. While attending law school, Jason worked for the law firm of Farris Bobango, PLC in their Nashville, Tennessee office as well the State of Tennessee Treasury Department. He also participated in moot court, served as the Tennessee Bar Association Student Liaison for the Nashville School of Law and was a member of the inaugural class of the Tennessee Bar Association’s Diversity Leadership Institute.
After graduating law school, Jason accepted employment with Bussart Law Firm in Lewisburg, Tennessee where he handled a variety of cases for the firm. His areas of practice within Davis Law Firm include Family Law (including divorce, child custody, child support, modification of parenting plans, adoptions, grandparents’ rights, etc.), Criminal Defense, General Civil Litigation, Evictions and Small Claims, Business Contracts, Social Security Disability, and Personal Injury. In addition to his private practice, Jason previously served as an Assistant District Attorney for the 17th Judicial District where he gained extensive experience in handling a variety of criminal cases. Jason is a Rule 31 Listed Family and Civil Mediator with extensive training in alternative dispute resolution. Jason is licensed to practice law in the State of Tennessee and in the Federal District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee. In addition to his legal practice Mr. Davis is also a licensed Real Estate agent serving both buyers and sellers in Middle Tennessee. Jason is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association, the Marshall County Bar Association, and the Marshall County Young Professionals Group.
